It depends on the type of automated blogging that you're doing. Some people have expressed success with scraper sites, but it's usually short-lived and it's a constant battle to keep up with the churn and burn game. Not highly recommended.
Personally, I've success with auto generated affiliate product blogs. With these blogs, it did take a bit of time for me to get them set up (because I actually customize the content provided in the datafeeds I use in order to have unique content), but many are constantly updated.
If you're thinking of setting up a bunch of Made For AdSense (MFA) blogs, then I'd suggest setting up a quality blog that you pour a bit more effort into because it will most likely last longer and yield better results for you.

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
