Design or Buy Logo?

Hey Guys,

I'm currently developing my site to be set up using Microsoft Publisher. I need a logo. Am I better off paying someone 40 bucks to design one for me, or buying software with templates and using them myself, changing the text and manipulating the shape? The software I was thinking of was "thelogocreator.com" Any advice?

If YOU are doing all your site design it would be good to take a day or two and learn how to create good looking graphics. Not only will you learn a useful skill that will translate into a better looking site overall, you will save some $$
