In an effort to continue to improve the DentalPlans.com Affiliate Program, effective June 1, 2006, clickthroughs tracked and displayed by DentalPlans.com will filter out clicks which come from search engine spiders and bots. This will give you a more accurate view of your visitors and the conversion ratio of your Affiliate Account.
This is done using a common process of User-Agent filtering of the clicks as they come to our website. If you would like more information about user-agents click here. The effect that this will have on your actual clickthrough numbers is that your clicks will be lower and your conversion percentage will be higher. This is especially true if you operate a web site that relies on organic search engine traffic. Those affiliates who receive most of their traffic from pay per click sites will not be affected very much, if at all.
