Copy of content

Hi,
I am going to create a website about collection of names. I have collected name of different type through some resources but so many name in to these names are already in some website. I want to know is it contradictory to copy right act or Google look like this copy of content.

Hi. I'm not sure what you are asking. Could you break it down a little more?What do you mean by a "collection of names". If you have taken content off of other sites that would be a no-no in my book. Google frowns upon duplicate content and of course, copyright infringement. Personally, if the content is not my own then I don't use it. All the best.

Did not understand quite well what are you asking here. Is it possible for you to elaborate it a little more on this. What exactly you want to know?
And as far as copyright issue is concerned, yes, Google takes the duplicate content as bad content and its robots delete it from their search peripheral.
