I have read so much from so many different views, that I have completely confused myself! Could someone please help me to understand the process in which we use to find keywords for article marketing? For some reason, I keep getting lost therefor I can't seem to get started. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I deleted your same question from the other thread since you posted it here and moved my answer here.

Here is a step by step KW research post I wrote that may help.

Just realize there is no perfect way, everyone does it differently and sometimes you have to cross reference or try a couple different ways.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thank you so much for replying, sorry about the mix up!

So if I find a word in SEO tool, and check it intitle and get 39
then I did an inanchor check resulting with a 4
and word tracker says that is searched for 696 times
would that be considered good?

I actaully used this word in my blog, but I'm not seeing any traffic from it?

Hi and welcome to the forum shyane!

There's a bit more to it than just using the word in a blog. :D

As Linda said, it's important to know where you rank in the search engines for the keyword you're working on because you won't get traffic if you're number 1,000 and 10 levels deep.

I'd recommend doing a bit of research on search engine optimization (i.e. on-page as well as off-page factors for ranking well in SE's). It's great knowledge to have, especially after you've finished your keyword research and are ready to get yourself noticed. ;)
