Who here has used Codeacademy to learn how to code? I've started a few lessons to polish up on some things, but I've never actually finished a complete set of lessons. Did it actually teach you most of what you needed to know, and how would you rate the site?
One of my friends has been using it to brush up on his coding skills, he seems to rate it pretty highly from a novice point of view to get an understanding, although i cant imagine it could be any kind of substitute for experience of creating something your self and referencing google when you get stuck.
I suppose you really need to be someone which learns from studying , i am the complete opposite where i learn alot more by doing it rather than studying a subject.
