I am just wondering if the slowing down of (pointing) mouse (actually the mouse only, running or executing a program is still as it is) due to playing of a movie from a dvd is NORMAL?? Or is there something that can solve this?? Is there something to do with the specification of the computer itself??

When you are playing a movie, the process uses a log of processor power that it what leads to other devices including mouse slowing down. Its less market in very powerful computers but its still there.

this is normal specially when you are using low speed unit. when CD rom starts to spin and gather information from the disk it records the information to your RAM a good combination of CD ROM speed and RAM is the key...
