Blogs comment?

I didn't know it's not good/helpful to comment on blogs (do-follow) with so many spam comments on it? what if the blog has high PR?

If it has a ton of spam comments, that's hardly likely.

You you are on a blog with ton of spam comment, do not post you link on that page, it has not value. If you are on a blog with good content and good comments, do post a comment you have have something to add - Do not post a spam comment like "nice post..." etc.

Even if the page has high PR but has tons of comments, either spams or not, it still has a very little value. All of those links are going to share the amount of link juice from that page so if it has tons of it, each will receive a little or no share of the link juice.
