Blogging v/s adwords

Do you think blogging is much more effective tool than adwords to make money?

I think blogging and adwords are totally different channels of Internet marketing. Adwords would bring direct or instant traffic for your sites but blogging might not have such prompt effects but it is really helpful in building quality backlinks for your sites.
