<strong>Black hat affiliate marketing is out – white hat's in!</strong>
Read all about it in the November issue of <a href="http://www.affiliateclassroom.com/magazine.php">Affiliate Classroom magazine</a>.

<a href="http://www.affiliateclassroom.com/magazine.php"><img src="http://www.affiliateclassroom.com/magazine/nov08-c.jpg" alt="PPC Classroom" align="left" height="194" hspace="10" width="150" /></a>We all know that white hat marketing is safer than black hat in that you will not get banned by the search engines. But if you've been tempted by the dark side of affiliate marketing -- the black hat side -- read this issue first. Your reputation is at stake, so be sure you know the difference between white and black (and gray), and the consequences.

This is such an important topic that there are actually two articles that touch on the subject. The first, "<strong>An Affiliate code of Honor</strong>," is all about how to keep on the ethical side of affiliate marketing. The second gives you specific examples of what constitutes a black hat site. Make sure you are not inadvertently using a few of these techniques on your sites, thinking they are white (or maybe 'just a little' gray hat).

Then, let Rachel Honoway give you first hand advice on getting more out of your day as you read “<strong>Ten Time Management Tips for Affiliate Marketers</strong>.” Learn how to make affiliate marketing fit in with your "real life" and how to keep yourself sane while building your business.

Lastly, read “<strong>Ten Rules of Successful Affiliate Marketing</strong>,” and find out what it takes to keep a customer coming back and begging for more!

Whether you’re an aspiring super affiliate, a top earner, or a part-time affiliate looking to make a little extra each month, this issue of Affiliate Classroom Magazine is FREE and has plenty of white hat marketing advice to help you improve your affiliate business. Go here to download it directly (no email address required): <a href="http://www.affiliateclassroom.com/magazine.php">Affiliate Classroom Magazine</a>

"Make sure you are not inadvertently using a few of these techniques on your sites, thinking they are white (or maybe 'just a little' gray hat)."

I'd suggest that if it's truely inadvertant then it's nowhere close to blackhat.

And I have read enough articles on White Hat and Black Hat Affiliate Marketing and have gathered quite an information about both ways.
My simple explanation is why to do something wrong and illegal when you know that can cost you your business. Why to do something which can ripe good success rate in short term but in long run it will make you lose all your money and hardwork.
Of course I read all the articles you mentioned in your write up and they are indeed educational.
For me its always the legal, the correct the right measure for every problem or for every path I take.
So White Hat marketing is the way to go!

it is definitely better to feel the google love rather than the google wrath ...

cheers for the magazine link, interesting read!!

Check out the magazine archives too. Tons of good info. Each month pretty much has a specific focus like PPC or article marketing or choosing a network or whatever, so you can pretty easily scan through and find a cluster of articles on a topic you are interested in learning more about.

Black hat = "get rich quick", "manipulate the system", etc.

White hat = systematically build a stable, quality content business that offers real value to whatever niche is being served.

White hat takes longer but it's real.
