best for API interactions?

Hi All I am Praveen from India
I am new here in the forum
I am developing a niche af referral site,
I have made made the site using WP,
Can anyone share what are the best techniques/technologies that are I need be familiar with while dealing APIs of Amazon or Flipkart
Apart from Web Services,XML .Do we need Node.js or Angular.js for API interactions
please share any information

First of all understand that an API is communication with a machine - you send a request and receive a json or xml file with the data you request (as long as you correctly sent the request).

Depending on the api you need you need to set a request and parse the received data so it will be presented on your website in a user friendly way.

When using wordpress your options are limited to some degree so if you plan on using angular or node than I would recommend making your whole website with it. Consider I am not a wordpress expert so there might be good solutions for you that I am not aware of.

You can cURL feeds and parse them if you know how -- but to integrate feeds into wordpress use this.
