Beckham left out of England squad

David Beckham has been left out of Fabio Capello's first England squad to play Switzerland on 6 February.

I really feel sorry for Beckham. I agree he is not on the peak of his career anymore but I think he deserved the 100th cap for all he has done for England all these years.

That's a shame, he definately deserved to reach the milestone of 100 caps.

Thats gotta be it now for Beckham and the England team

Capello did promise to include him in the future, he believe he still has a lot to offer, its just that he has not played competitive football since November 2007

I really don't see why Capello has left him out now. He should just put him in the squad for this friendly and get the 100th cap over with.

Now before every England game there will be a huge media build up of "is he in the squad or isn't he?!"

So unnecessary.
