Micron Europe are a leading provider of computer memory upgrades in the US, the UK, France and Italy, and are looking for a marketing professional with hands on experience of E-commerce in Germany - to lead their UK and German marketing programs and to spearhead further development of their Northern European business.
Job Description
The Core Responsibilities of the North Europe Marketing Executive are:
Advertising:
Planning, buying and administration of paid advertising strategy for the region including budget ownership, campaign management, creative localisation, agency liaison and interface. Report and be accountable on programmes metrics including ROI
Content marketing:
Recruit and manage PR agency in the region, contribute to the definition of the content strategy and its deployment for the region.
Regional Intelligence monitoring:
Research and report on local e-commerce best practices including pricing policies, promotions and offers, service offering. Gather data and intelligence and drive local offer development to make sure that Crucial.com always maintains a competitive position in the region.
Email Marketing:
Contribute to the development of the Email marketing strategy for the region. The candidate will be responsible for the Tactical implementation of all email marketing campaigns with the support of in-house team and external agency.
Other Responsibilities include:
Budget management:
This position involves budget management and accountability.
The right candidate will be ROI accountable and will report on a regular basis on the performance of all components of the marketing spend.
Tactical use of technology:
This position involves a daily usage of tools, such as IBM's Websphere Commerce or Core metrics analytics, at a tactical level, to implement changes on the websites, add tracking tags, modify content or create promotions.

The Successful Applicant
The requirements for the North Europe Marketing Executive are:
- Background in E-Commerce and in a relevant marketing position is essential.
- Proven delivery of growing E-Commerce business.
- Demonstrate an ability to plan and prioritise a marketing strategy in a demand generation context.
- Demonstrate commercial focus and business acumen
- Copywriting and creative skills
- Numerical: You love number crunching and spread-sheets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident and effective communicator
- Previous background working with budgets and negotiating agreements an advantage
- Additional knowledge within a multichannel environment would be beneficial.
- Relevant Marketing Degree, or equivalent
- German mother tongue and fluent in English. Additional European language such as Spanish, French or Italian an advantage.
