I've been experimenting with CPA and stuff for quite a while now and I have had a great success. My problem is that whenever I make a breakthrough and get something working perfectly well, I can't stick with it. As soon as I find one, I don't find it challenging enough and want to scale more and that's where more research comes into play and my current working schemes to a halt. 
But that's who I am and I'm gonna keep doing that till I get to something big!
