Valued Users is another.

I was thinking about doing this, but then it just makes the average user feel underappreciated. Therefore I go with VIP, Contributors, or Valued Contributors.

Valued Contributers has the same connotation of Valued Users, just renamed. Or at least it feels like it.

I quite like the name "V.I.P", but if you want to call it something else, then i also think "Sponser", "Valued Member" or "Valued Contributor" is also ok.

It really depends how you want to use the name VIP. I usually only use it for some contributors or important people in my forum, but these people do not exactly pay for this rank. In the case you want to give a rank to people, who donate money, than I'd say "contributors", "sponsors" & "donators" would work
