Affiliates - Analysis Paralysis and Strategies for Success

<strong>Mindset Monday</strong>. As an affiliate, many things in your day-to-day business are outside your control (like Google's ever changing algorithm, for instance). But one of the biggest assets you have (and sometimes overlook) and something that IS within your control is your mindset! So today I have a couple great posts for you about leveraging that powerful asset.

One of the hardest things for some affiliates when beginning a new site, campaign or project, is simply getting started. It's easy to get into non-stop research mode and hit analysis paralysis. Many of us also have that little voice in our heads telling us this project is not worth it and won't work. So once again paralysis sets in and we sabotage ourselves before we even begin. The first post, by Josh Todd talks about his personal experience with analysis paralysis and how he overcomes it.

The second link is a podcast with Andrew Wee who talked with super affiliate Amit Mehta about removing barriers to success and how to reach success.

This topic (paralysis from analysis) is such a deep-rooted hot button for me when I'm showing other affiliate marketers "how to do it"...I just can't express it in words.

"Someone who keeps trying to 'figure out' how to do something, is usually passed up by someone already doing it."

I think the above is an old Chinese proverb or something...can't remember, but it's so true when it comes to trying to figure this affiliate marketing business out instead of just doing it.

You will make mistakes, no matter how hard you try not to. Inside those mistakes are business growth lessons that are worth much more than $47 ebooks, or even advice from mentors.

It is very common for us humans to think "What if i fail", "What if it won't work" even I think.

But then I try to fight it back by saying "Why wont it work" and try my level best to ignore it and move on

This is why I have decided to promote my product , whatever happens and not switch

But one success with it and your mind is in favour with you

If you have read this book "Secrets of a Millionaire Mind" there is a quoute from it that says " Your mind always think in a way that prevents your happiness and success"

It's a fantastic book to read
