We are a new sunglasses brand and still working at getting traction in the affiliate space. We are looking at the ways to incentive affiliates. One of the options is increased commission based on performance. Considering that we are a new brand and trying to get cut through, in your experience which would get the most traction:
The number of sales or revenue? We are thinking of making it easy to go up a level say 3 to 5 sales in the month. Is this the best option? Or should it be based on the revenue generated?
In addition we are looking at non-financial reward incentives – what do affiliates on the whole like as a non-financial reward? This would be based on improved performance, not total volume.
Would welcome your advice.
