Happy Fathers Day to all the affiliate Daddies out there.

This is one post I hope you don't read, because I hope you take time away from the computer today to go have fun in the Sun and play with your kids.

I threw a pool/hot tub/pizza party for some of the special Dads in my extended family last night. It was super fun and a very special time. As always, all the attention was centered around my super adorable grand daughter (22 months). Her Daddy and "Opa" (Grandpa) got to have plenty of quality time with her and we all had a blast in the pool.

I bought her a pink inflatable car to ride around the pool in. How adorable was she! Forgot my camera? bummer!

Hi Linda,

Do you have a bit of Dutch heritage? Happy Father's day to all dad's in North American. Interesting to note that father's day in Australia is the first weekend in September.

No I'm not Dutch, I'm Norwegian. There is this super loving couple that informally adopted my daughter's family and I. So now we are one big family.

Not sure if that's how you spell it and didn't know it was Dutch. I thought it was German.

It is both German and Dutch. The reason why I said Dutch is because my grandparents are Dutch.

That is nice that you have a big family unit
