Basically yes.
Sometimes I write about my own experience with the site and that it is great for hookups or something like that.

My take on this: Master your abilities. I have always made money with my 'hard learned' technical skills and a gift of English language ability. No one is going to pay to see my fat and hairy butt

1. I post on pornhub and other sites. But also live shows on chaturbate etc.
2. User watches video and wants to get in contact with me (snapchat). For my snapchat he goes to my website where he needs to enter his email to get my snapchat.
3. He enters email.
4. I send him email with dating offer.
5. He clicks.
6. Registers for free and I get $0.50-$5 depending on the country.

Having worked for years for real broadcast cam operations --this is rare.
People here come and go trying to funnel free traffic --this is just that.
There is a take away from this if you look hard enough

Start a cam studio and funnel the traffic Chaturbate will allow you to 'hijack'
I don't know of any other cam site with serious traffic that will allow this. Maybe, MFC but only off the performer's blog profile and not on the screen.

Last time I posted that I would try different e-mail templates made in HTML, this didn't work out. My links got way less clicks, so I'm back to just writing plain texts.

When they signup for my newsletter they get access to free pics or snapchat access as a reward (that's how I promote it).
Then I send them emails with affiliate offers.

So you couldn’t buy traffic leading them to a squeeze page to get more emails. I was thinking create a push ad with a banner of you on. Have a catchy title a teasing description and instead of linking them to an affiliate offer. Link them to an email squeeze page. This will increase your email list and improve the chances of conversions in future.
