Adsense and Price Comparison On Merchant Site...

Hello, I am new to this forum but not new to Affiliate Marketing...
I have been in Affiliate Marketing for the last 7 years or so.

I recently ran across a major issue with Backcountry.com
It seems that they have included not only Adsense on their site...
But a price comparison powered by GEARDIGGER.COM

Here are a couple of links that show the Price Comparison towards the bottom of the pages:

backcountry.com/outdoorgear/Mountain-Hardwear-Nitrous-Down-Jacket-Mens/MHW1177M.html
backcountry.com/outdoorgear/The-North-Face-Denali-Fleece-Jacket-Mens/TNF0115M.html

You can't always see the Adsense ads so I won't bother posting links for those. Besides it is the Price Comparison run by GEARDIGGER.com that I am concerned with. First of all GearDigger.com is PRIVATELY REGISTERED... and that always throws up red flags for me.. there is no GOOD reason that I can think of to privately register a domain name that is used for legitimate purposes.

This started November 9th 2009 and I am just finding out about it... (another thing that irks me) I found the Adsense and Price Comparison for myself and brought it to BC's attention... I didn't get any notice at all about them taking my traffic and throwing it out the window.

I am obviously in the market for a new Outdoor gear merchant since I consider this to be a major breach of trust and I do not send traffic to merchants with leaks...

So my question is this... does anyone else have a problem with this... and did any Backcountry affiliates know about this...???

Fascinating! To me that looks like a clear leak in their program, letting potential affiliate sales leak away. I know Backcountry has been pretty affiliate conscious over the years, so I find this very surprising.
