I use dreamweaver for all of my websites and i never tried word press. Im scared of the stupid learning curve!!! Everything new i do takes soo much time to learn. Im not the most creative person so i do much better with templates and such.

I love WordPress. It's so functional and versatile. At times, I saw new features being introduced there. Besides, WP rank great in SERPs.
No doubt about it. It's just flexible in terms of CMS as well. That is the real beauty of the blogging platform. It's also the reason why many people go with it over blogger, drupal, etc etc.
You can do so much with it if you just know how to but you can study those things if you don't yet.
