Just as a final update to this thread: After speaking with my account manager she said it is possible to get paid out if I choose to close my account. Which I am going to do, since I can always go back. Thanks again @Aditya007 @Graybeard @T J Tutor- Jed22

Yeah that makes sense. On average their offer payouts are all below $50 so it is quite challenging to reach the threshold because you run out of advertising budget... but we'll see what happens. Ohh okay that makes a lot of sense. So CPC is good when you're determining CTR for new ads, then once you find ads with a good CTR you might be able to lower your costs by switching to a CPM based model.
