How much money is required for getting started in affiliate marketing?
I would suggest starting with some easy combinations like pop traffic + a smartlink. Normally smartlinks would convert better on a blind traffic than a specific offer. e.g. Mobidea, Mobusi or Clickdealer have pretty good performing smartlinks- Addvertize

How to detect bot traffic?
Why not to check conversions ratio by sub ids? If this or that sub id doesn't convert then obviously it's a bot or something. Also, makes sense filterting the traffic. For example, Optics are good and easy to set up. Pricey, though.- Addvertize
