Welcome to the club! No you are not alone. Happening all over.
Have spoken to some other bloggers experiencing the same indexing issue.
Just ignore it for now and keep publishing quality content. Hopefully google catches up at some point.
In my case, what I did was to reference the site on...
write quality content to satisfy user intent and hope other websites link back to you naturally.
DA or DR are all 3rd party metrics that don't mean squat to Google.
I have seen websites with DA/DR 0 rank on page 1 position 1 for some keywords.
I would focus on picking the right keywords and...
Honestly, unless you personally know someone who has used the service, it's hard to cut through all the fake reviews. People manufacture reviews, likes, views, subs... It's a jungle out there :)
Please clarify if you mean your site has been online for 2 years and it's not showing up at all in the SERPS or you mean it's not ranking high up in the SERPs to bring in traffic?
As in not on page #1 position 1-10 for example?
Reason why i ask is because i know countless of affiliate sites...
When you first publish your content, let it sit for natural indexing and see where it lands e.g first 100 results or more
Assuming you have taken care of all the on page SEO, try this:
1) Share link/content on social media (social signals). Don't blast 10,000 shares in one go. Just a trickle...
I meant how do you insert an image here on this forum? I am not referring to my own site.
I have seen some users being able to insert an image in their posts on this forum and others can't, like i showed in my previous post. Maybe this is only happening to me?
Are you able to insert an image...
sorry what do you mean by just 1 tag in my post? I don't understand.
what I meant in my previous post is how people insert images here on the forum in their posts? Whenever i try i get the "broken" link thing as shown in my previous post. I have no idea what's happ.
I tried to upload a local image from my computer and I also tried a remote source https:// I even use the source code.
Here is a test again using the attach image on the post
Image link is the following relaxation
Sounds like a pretty decent conversion rate as even with an average of 1% you are still good let alone 4%.
Out of interest, how old is your site or page where you got the 900 visitors and are you ranking on page 1 of google? (not position #1 but first page).
Are you using Amazon Associates for...
I have a challenge with people going on about the content is king thing. What exactly do you mean by that? Lengthy content? quality content? content that provides the best answer?
Type "lorem ipsum" in google search and you will likely find on page #1 some thin content pages with a bunch of...
I don't think the question is about how to do SEO but rather how to rank position #1 on page #1.
If you can provide concrete examples of NEW pages you have ranked on page #1 position #1 then we can put this debate to rest.
And please let's not say the "best answer" ranks on top. Not true and i...
Hey Md. Masudul Hasan, your answer is a bit cryptic for me. Would you please clarify? Should I take it that you have experience in SEO? I am an SEO enthusiast myself so I am keen to learn and exchange ideas with seasoned SEOs.
No it's not a coincidence and NO the best answer does not always rank on top of Google. You probably meant all things being equal, the best answer will always rank on top.
And no i don't mean to stir things up ;).
I can put up a site today with the best answer to a user's question and yet not...
I am definitively not using free hosting but i do experiment with them for sure. I use shared hosting and was wondering if a vps or a dedicated server is recommended for Affiliate Marketing. I guess if you need more control, it's warranted!
I have seen people leveraging sites.google.com to rank higher on google. Plenty rankings on page 1, it's faster than trying to rank with a brand new site.
I believe some call it "parasite seo" it's like using sites like medium.com or quora.com to rank on page 1.
Not sure where you are based...
Thanks TJ for getting back to me. I was trying to leverage google sites' DR for SEO purposes as apposed to a new domain. I saw one of your posts where you were recommending a VPS to a newbie or some sort. From your experience, is it better to have one's own server for affiliate marketing...
no that was not my link above. Just a dumpy link to show the google operator check i was making.
My content has been up for more than 3 months and not indexed. I am lost with my troubleshooting, hence me checking if anyone else had experienced this.
Hi SEOs,
Has anyone been able to index any google sites lately? I am talking about anything hosted on sites.google.com.
I have been experimenting with google sites for a while and can't seem to be able to index 2 of my projects.
I have done the usual stuff such as adding analytics tag, adding...
