I think it really depends on what you are trying to get out of your posts. If your doing it solely for SEO and not trying to learn and improve. It's a waste of time other than SEO.
I still don't like bings search results. Unless they come up with a way to show results in a more structured manner. I'll stick with google until someone comes along with a better way to get the results I want.
I think there are forums that don't attract the core group they are looking to come back again and again. If you have users that only come once and never come back. You won't be able to keep the site up for very long.
