    Using Facebook for Marketing?

Regarding ads... If you use Google then (if you do it right) it is much more targeted traffic - you can target buying keywords. Where FB ads shine is in the ability to demographically target. You can send ads only to a certain geographical location (great for local affiliate stuff0 or to...

No offense at all - just kidding. If you have any other questions I'll do my best to answer them.

Creating the subscriber list (to your blog)

Scott - no problem at all. You are right - MailChimp will give you everything you need and then some. And you can't beat the price. Also - as they say - 'sir' is my father.... -Russ

Creating the subscriber list (to your blog)

Scott...MailChimp will give you the widget. The term widget is used for Wordpress so they can give you that but they can also give you html to use if your site is not built on Wordpress.

    Mobile Mass Money

Cool...thanks for the feedback on the videos. I just think that selling a mobile site first is an easier sell and then you have the luxury of choosing which clients are right for moving forward with the SMS program. I am aware that it is useful for other industries - I spent 15 years in the...

    Importance of Domain Name

Exact match domains are great if you are targeting a single keyword and basically making a mini site. I have a lot of local domains that only target one keyword and they rank - sometimes with no content. But as was mentioned already you don't need to have the keyword in the domain. But you...

Question about niches and finding them

If you are selling a very high ticket item then 20 searches per month might be worth it. You need to understand which keywords are buying keywords and how many visits to your site can lead to a sale. The number of searches is only a small part of the picture. -Russ

Creating the subscriber list (to your blog)

Scott...an autoresponder is part of a service that list providers like mailchimp, icontact and aweber provide. You will want one of these to manage your lists. A widget is a simple wordpress function that can include your list sign up form on your blog. If you need any help with this, let...

    Mobile Mass Money

I think Mobile is really hot but to me starting with SMS is like shooting yourself in the foot - it is going too far, too fast with business owners who don't understand what you are trying to sell. I actually put up a series of training videos on an easier way to get into this market (in my...

    Clickbank vs Amazon?

Both are good but one thing a lot of people don't take into consideration is cashflow. If you are just starting out then you might be much happier with Clickbank paying you weekly via direct deposit versus every 30 days like Amazon. Having said that, physical products are an easier sell.... -Russ

You might want to add pet urns and pet caskets into your mix....

Feedback on my plan would be appreciated :)

Hi Keith, It seems from your post that you might have missed a couple of steps... Have you defined who your market is? Have you ascertained that your market is actively purchasing products online? Have you done proper keyword research? I wouldn't want you to miss these fundamentals...

Are there any free auto-responders out there?

I second using mailchimp if you need to get started for free. Icontact is also a great choice as they allow you to import your subscriber list. In other words you could use mailchimp until you can afford icontact and then import your subscribers into icontact so you won't lose any. The...
