    Need Help

    What is the most you have made online?

    The most ive ever made in one deal was a 150 dollar google adsense check for a sports site I ran. I was very excited and wish I could still make that much off adsense each month.

    Facebook, Twitter, Vine and Myspace are the ones im really aware of. Ive heard of smaller social networks before but I cant even tell you there names at this point and if they are even still around.

    How much do you pay monthly or yearly for hosting?

    7 bucks for every 6 months, I think its a great deal but ill admit the hosting isn't the best. You cant have high expectations for that cheap though.

    I would agree with virtualtraveler that HostGator is the way to go. There customer service is excellent and I have never had a problem with loading times.

    Are you addicted to Facebook

    No not at all. Im mostly on facebook but I only use it to debate sports and chat with friends. I dont feel compelled to stay on the site, nothing else besides that attracts me to the site.

    What is your favorite free domain?

    .TK is the best of the free domains but I would really prefer to just get a site on somewhere like blogspot or proboards for a forum. Makes alot more sense and when you build your community up you can invest in the 10 bucks for the domain.

    How often do you post new content on your forum or blog?

    For my blog, I post new content on there about 4 times a week. You want to put a good amount of articles out there, but you want them all to be solid ones that the reader would enjoy reading.

    Lurkers >.<

    I am fine with people lurking my forum, they add visits and pageviews to my sites stats. Id suggest you have a message pop up suggesting the user should register. Make sure you make the point the point that it is free and takes a minute to start interacting with the community.

    Do you use Classified sites for Internet marketing

    I have tried to use classified sites for internet marketing and it has never really worked all that well. Ive tried craigslist and mostly my post would be flagged for spam. Ive found other sites alot more effective for affiliate marketing.

    How much is enough staff?

    Generally I will have another admin who will help me out on the site and 3-4 moderators. These people have to be people I trust though, on some websites I will have only one or two moderators because I dont trust enough people to promote.

    I would hire someone because I already have! :) I hired someone to run my facebook because that is what he specializes in. He has alot more time then me to contact people that would be interested in joining our forum. After he talk to them about the forum, he asks them to join our Facebook...
