Article marketing
From my limited personal experience - I had great success with ezinearticles.com and associatedcontent.com, both free. (In fact, technically Associatedcontet.com pays you, but it's generally going to be very little.)
I tried isnare - my three articles for them got me, so...
Thanks, Market raise!
Wow, that is intriguing. I thought that Google had done away with allowing signatures from forums. All the pagerank that I've gotten has been from Ezinearticles so far, but in the future I may give forums a try. (The one site I have right now tells people how to get into a...
Press release sites?
Someone here mentioned press release sites, and I just saw this mentioned elsewhere as a way to get backlinks. As in, write a press release, quote yourself as an expert with a link to your site, and pay for it to be sent out as a press release.
Does this actually work...
That is some good info
It might vary state by state also. I'm about to do my taxes, so I'll ask my accountant about it from a tax standpoint. And I know a bunch of lawyers so I will try to get some answers about how much protection it offers.
I'll also do some online research into the S Corp...
As usual, I may be putting this in the wrong thread, but here goes...
Do many of the people on this board form corporations or LLCs for their internet ventures? Although I am reeelly small potatoes at this point...I have one website which earns me a few bucks a day...I am thinking of...
Linda - am I allowed to include a link to a niche-advice post?
Am I allowed to post links to blogs that have good advice? (As in, not a self-serving link, but a link to the site of someone with great advice.)
Courtney Tuttle on his or her blog (Courtney - girl? Boy?) has a great post from...
Another article marketing question
Is there a time of week that is better to submit articles? I've heard that weekends are a slower time for webmasters...which seems strange to me, because people have more free time on weekends so I would think that they'd web surf...but if that's true, it...
Thank you!
Thanks, Marketing Mama! I appreciate your taking the time to pos that.
I get a good response from my ezinearticles, and so-so response from Associated Content - when I say "good", I mean I now seem to average 50-60 visitors a day.
I have tried social bookmark sites - they just...
I have one website so far, and I have been promoting it solely through article marketing, which has gotten me to a pagerank 2 over the last couple of months. But I'm trying to branch out and find ways to rise in the search engine rankings, and I keep reading that backlinks are what google looks...
Linda, thank you SOOO much!
Linda, that post was like a little mini-course all in itself! It was awesome! And it finally sheds some light on the whole overcrowded niche/high-paying keyword thing I've been wondering about for ages.
Specifically, if a keyword pays $10 or $15, why shouldn't I...
Linda, you mention the whole issue of not jumping into an incredibly overcrowded market, which is a very good point. I have a couple of questions, and if this should be asked elsewhere, please let me know.
Of course everyone needs to pick a niche they have some passion for but we also need to...
Thanks Linda!
The reason that I thought that putting up a blog on blogger.com, and then adding a link to my wordpress site, might be perceived as bad is that it seems to me as if doing that would be me creating a site and adding links to it just to boost my other site.
Mind you, I am all for...
Thanks Lisa
Hey Lisa, thanks for the info. You're right, you can always find someone with a gripe, and they are usually the ones who speak up the loudest and longest. Maybe I'll give sitebuildit a try for one web site, give it a few months, make sure I give it a fair try, and see how I like...
Site Build it
Hi Linda! I luuuv your site!
Anyway - I was thinking about buying site build it, and as I do with anything that I'm thinking of buying, I went to google, typed in "site build it", and came up with some negative comments about customer service being slow and unresponsive when...
Thanks!
Hey, Oregon Coast guy, thank you for the super speedy response! You're faster than a speeding bullet!
My situation is - I'm a great writer, if I do say so myself (I'm a newspaper reporter, so I better be good) - and I can research, get up to speed on a topic, and write a lot of short...
I have a few questions about article marketing. I created my first website a few months ago, using wordpress and hosting it on my own domain. I picked an adsense-ready wordpress theme and had someone personalize it for me, and then I uploaded the theme onto Godaddy (a really complex and...
Site build it question
I do have a question about Site build it - if you decide to have your website hosted by someone else, say bluehost or hostgator or whatever - can you do that?
