No matter how long the title is suppose to be, the first 3 sentences are very crucial. Internet users have short attention span and so you have to capture their attention with the first 3 sentences.
I just did mine few days ago, so I've not noticed any increment in ranking. I believe that in the future, Google will be placing more weight on it. I'll encourage every webmaster to link up their site.
I've tried it and I love it. The default match type is now exact match unlike the old tool which was broad match. The exact match is more accurate and a lot of people won't make the mistake of searching with the broad match.
