I belong to several forums and I am more likely to click on something on the top, bottom, or sides. I get annoyed with clutter on sites and basically ignore it. I think your best bet is to continue to build the traffic which will get you more click thoughs.

I have done a little of both. I like calling the shots though, so owning the business is ideal for me. To own a business though, you work a lot of hours. I spend a lot of time in front of the computer.
I have seen websites that offer articles to be posted by people every week to eliminate these auto posters. They offer services for craigslist postings, yahoo, msn, myspace, bookmarking ect.
$10 per click - that is a lot, unless it returns a profit. I am not sure why it would be so much if it is not a searched a lot product. Maybe someone here could shed some light for us.
