    I once auto-submitted to 100 directories only to realise I had misspelled my sites title (anchor text) in the auto submission software. On the plus side I ranked really well for the phrase golf blgo for a while (I still don't know how I missed it)

    I tend to stick to brand names, but even brand names produce rubbish defective products at times. I tend to try and find a few favorable consumer reviews first to see if there have been any problems with that particular model.

    Yeah I am trying DIY SEO and learning new things along the way. I have hit #1 for some less competitive long tail keywords, but am struggling to hit page 1 for my main keywords. It is all a bit of fun for me though!
