    Spam

I get the occasional spam comment on my blog, but thanks to Wordpress automatically adding Akismet to every account along with the option to moderate each user's first post before it being added to the site, it's never been an issue.

    Most active member?

Wow, that's pretty impressive. The most I've had on any forum is about 4,000, and that was after a solid 5 years of activity. Everywhere I've been, though, I've been considered a valuable member; it's less about post count and more about post quality if you ask me.

    Off topic Area

I moderate a forum which has a nonsense section containing roughly half the full amount of posts across the board. However, as they don't add to the users' post count and its very existence means people don't spam other topics, the management team really don't mind.

Do you let moderators delete topics?

I'll preface this by saying I don't own a forum myself, but I do moderate one. As such, I may be a little biased when I say in general, it's OK to allow mods to delete topics. Only senior global moderators, though; I'm not all that trusting of local mods. I feel you have to trust them before...

How difficult is it to earn money online?

For me, it really depends on how well you can generate ideas. There's a much bigger market for the creative online, and as a writer, this is especially difficult as you always have to be on the cutting edge of new ideas. It's a very challenging process, yes, but it's also a fantastic opportunity...

    Quick typers?

Yeah, compared to my grandma maybe :P I tried it again and got about 67%, but I forgot to screenshot it. It's a slight improvement, I suppose.

How do you promote your blog/site for free?

I guess that makes sense, but still, is it normal to feel like your attempts to advertise simply aren't welcome? I feel it may be a little silly, but I don't like imposing at the best of times, so when I'm trying to promote myself, it just feels wrong.

    How much time?

In that case, not much time at all. I check Facebook occasionally, but I almost never update my status. My wall is plastered with automatic links to my latest blog posts. As for Twitter, the most I deal with that is ignoring the constant emails I get from them begging me to join, all because a...

    New Social Media Sites?

Google Plus is alright, I suppose. I still feel Facebook is the very best though. I'm not one for meeting new people online; I'd rather meet them in person, then add them to my social network.

How do you promote your blog/site for free?

Forums. That, and Facebook. To be honest, advertising is something I don't do very well. I never know whether I'm overstepping some kind of boundary, so I find myself forgetting about it entirely. It's... Not very good.

    Quick typers?

I am truly humbled by your superiority. To be honest, I'm surprised I managed to do it even as fast as that.

Do you have your own work at home blog?

I don't have nearly the experience necessary to even attempt it. I feel I could benefit from someone with experience, though. If you don't mind me asking, could you provide a link to yours?

    Do you sell your articles?

I try to. I find it's not easy though; especially for someone who's very new to the whole scene. I'm yet to guest blog for anyone as well - I'm not entirely sure how you go about asking, to be honest.

    How much time?

Do forums count as social networking? I spend a rather significant amount of time talking on forums. I can get quite a bit of traffic from them, as people seem to show a genuine interest in my blog.

    Hey guys

Hi there. I'm 19, British, owner of a not-very-focused blog which has run for coming up to a year, and definitely need to learn a few tricks of the ol' webmaster trade. Seriously, I'm very bad with all that stuff. I hope I can become a part of this community :)
