Hi there,
Anyone out there using Linkedin as a social network to boost traffic?
I have use Facebook and twitter in the past, but I was just wondering if Linkedin can be effective as well, as I'm looking in to a more b2b type website at the moment.
Cheers
If it's a site everybody will like and find usefull, someting like general comparison of broadband subscriptions, then word of mouth is still the most powerfull out there. Just don't tell everyone that it's your site. You will get more traffic if you tell people about this website "a friend" of...
Since you already had experinece with blogs and so probably had all the right accounts in place to monetize, I would have had all my adds and stuff in place from day one. Easy for me to say, I know, but it's a strange world out there and if you fill a niche, it can just explode on you and then...
And remember that SEO is an ever changing world. Especially since Google is so prone on changing their algorithms.
So keep on checking those resources every 6 months or so, don't always stick with something that works for you today.
PTC is something I would only do for a couple of days. Sometimes I use to do 5 seconds of work in the morning as well, to let it accumalate slowly, but that will be just a fiver at the end of the year.
If you have a bit more time to spend, I would go for affiliate marketing and the likes.
What is the best way to get some paid traffic at the moment?
I always like organic traffic better, it's gonna be worth more to my site, but a little extra from paid source wont do any harm :)
I'm confused a bit, I know Google keeps changing things, so this question might only be for this month, but what is the best method righ now? I've been building links form blog mainly for the last weeks and have not seen a lot happening.
I would definately like to be over 1000 a day (now only hit 100 sometimes)
Is there anything in your experinece that works the best to get this level up?
Reading this thread almost makes me jealous :) Some above a million a month, wow!
