It depends how well-targeted in respect to the advertised product the audience of the email blast is. If, say, an ad on financial services is included in a financial newsletter, it sure is going to be quite effective in comparison with some junk mailing list that's been used for promoting trashy...
Can anyone here recommend some good websites offering legit email blast services (not spam) at reasonable prices, which you have tried yourself? Preferably, with an option of choosing a niche.
Thank you in advance.
BTW, what's your opinion on the current state of affairs with the AdSense advertising? Way less effective than it used to be not so long ago, IMHO.
Based on your personal experiences, what are some of the best ways of recruiting affiliates to promote your products? I think many people here would find this topic interesting.
Congrats! Takes me back to the sweet time when I was just starting with affiliate marketing - the first sales I generated got me well on the track and made me confident about affiliate marketing being the #1 home-based opportunity.
Anything requires efforts, yet this way is easier than others - once again, assuming that you have no special skills in areas like graphic design or programming.
Linda is right - the best way is to start with a free WordPress.com blog template, editing which is not harder than editing an MS Word document. You will never have to worry about hosting, bandwidth, or any related matters, and you will be able to easily point it to any domain name you own.
To me, the easiest way to get going as an affiliate for anyone is starting a blog at WordPress.com or BlogSpot.com - apart from the blog itself being free for you, there are many more free options on the web for promoting blogs as compared to sites (RSS feeds, blog directories, blog ping sites etc).

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. Please apply for membership using a personalized email prefix. Something like bob@xxxxx.com.
If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
