    It is social but not a real social network. It is more of a video sharing website, but with a socializing part included (likes, comments).

    Everyone can see my Facebook profile and send me a friend request, but only friends I confirm can see my photos, posts and everything else. I don't really use any other social network. :)

    Yes, the website runs generally faster now. Maybe they were doing some tweaking to the code because the number of users must be growing everyday.
