Wondering About Pingbacks

I am still a little new to the whole affiliate and seo scene and was wondering if pingbacks i am receiving on my wordpress blog will effect me. When i click on the link that pinged to me, my article is on their site. Will google penalize me for having "duplicate content" that was mine originally?

No. There is no duplicate content penalty. It doesn't exist. It never existed.

What do you think of the other site duplicating her content though? I was googling some of my keywords the other day and found one of my articles duplicated. They credited my name, but did not even offer a link...

It's up to you. You can write demanding a link. You can write demanding removal. And you can report the copyright violation to Google and Bing.
