The other day I saw a video of this year's sales, I think it turned out not as bright as usual.

I think people are spending online but their spending habits have shifted with the pandemic and its choke-point economy we are in right now.
--Here in the USA:
COVID-19 surge, depleted fiscal stimulus thump U.S. retail sales
Online sales are up a little and maybe that was just a shift of purchase venue of many purchases.

As an example ;

--I bought 5 furnace filters online yesterday
--they are available locally
--but one less trip outside = less exposure to COVID19 risk.

The value was there and they are shipped Amazon Prime to me.

Yeah, I mean only the shopping behavior has changed but overall we can see a slight in the economy.
