I want to do link exchange so what do i do for better link exchange? I have sent many of requests to webmasters but no response. Please give me good reply.

Webmasters are not responding to link exchange requests as they used to do mainly because the search engines are frowning on link exchanges

It is no necessary to contact sites that ranks similar as yours, if your website content is good and full of quality, you may contact high rank sites and they might get interest in yours. Just make sure you write a convincing letter as nowadays link exchange is considered as a black hat method as well.
