Pageviews and % Exit are most superficial you should be more worried about Goals and bounce rate. I check GA and gostats for these too and unique visitors too.

There are no metrics that you should ignore, since all of them are correlated in a way. So the parameter you ignore might be the source of trouble with the rest of parameters. Be careful with it
