SMF ? What do you think?

Does anyone in here use SMF.

I use it for my web hosting support forum and i love it.

Does not need much Maintance and it does the jobs for simple forums.

I have used SMF in the past, its supposed to be better than phpBB but I do not recommend any free forum software, vB is the best

Same experience as Temi said. I've used it in the past and found it better than phpbb. If your going for a paid software vb has been the best so far I've used.

Simple Machines Forum - a forum software like vbulletin and phpbb and etc.

its good for starting out, easy to manage, use, install, etc. And also very easy to convert out of if you ever have to lol

SMF used to be the free BB of my choosing but now I would tend to go for MyBB. Just seems a lot more trouble free.
But ofcourse vB is better if your budget can go for it.

I use it also and top it of with tp making it a great platform for my forum, there workingon a beta 2 at the moment but its still a good base as it is has everything vb has and just as stable
