Retargeting Question

I am new to retargeting, but have a question.

Is is possible to insert a retargeting pixel into a Craigslist ad?

For example if I am a car dealer could I place a craigslist ad for a car and then when people view the ad retarget them on other sites?

I know that I can do that if they click through to my website but it would be awesome if I could do that just by them viewing the ad.

I noticed the adroll pixel is javascript which CL doesn't allow. Are there any companies whose pixel(s) would work on CL ads?

Any suggestions?

I am a newbie when it comes to retargeting too but can imagine this isn't possible, it leaves too much open BUT I'd be happy for someone to pipe in with a solution if there is one!
