Re targeting your non buyers

Has anyone tested dropping the fb retargeting cookie code onto a redirection page before sending your traffic to teespring and using that audience for ads?

Havent tried that. But Teespring retargets the non buyers for us on Facebook. I see my own campaigns in my news feed many times appearing as sponsored from Teespring.

It's a good idea that I've started implementing.
That way you can retarget only the visitors that saw your T Shirt but didn't buy it.

Also, you can create lookalike audiences from there and make more money

You can create your own code on the Facebook Ads manager - Audiences - Create a Website Custom Audience.

I was actually thinking of making a lander that looked very similar to the teespring site and putting some relevant CPA ads in there for my audience as well as keeping the audience with the facebook audience code

haven't tried it before but there is a lot of retargeting companies that will help to do that!
