 Its seems I need direction more then most here.
what type of web page/site should i use:personal or business???
Most people here I think are saying go out and get a business web page via a personal? If its a business one, what rules apply as to getting a UBI number for the taxman, when he asks to see statments of earned income? or am i still thinking outside the box of running a business offline.

thks

You can make money with a personal or more business oriented site
but in either case you can just use your social security number
and do business as yourself, an individual or sole proprietor.

The majority of affiliates use their personal name and SS# even if
they have a business-type site - the type of site does not matter at all.

Each affiliate program with have you fill out a W-9 form which includes either your social
or tax ID if you do business as a company. Then they send you a 1099 tax form
in January of the next year (if you earn over a certain amount.)

Now there could be reasons you want to incorporate down the road,
like tax savings and asset protection, but it's really not necessary.

Disclaimer - I'm not an attorney or an accountant so always do your due diligence
on advice like this.

Here's a blog I did in 06 with links to more info.
