A vibrant niche publishing company is seeking a virtual, freelance, part-time, highly productive, affiliate/joint venture specialist to launch our partnership efforts. You?ll be joining a very small, elite team of extremely successful online marketing veterans of 10 years.
We have the #1 and #2 top-selling information products focused on how to improve relationships, overcome affairs and save marriages and there are thousands of potential affiliates and joint venture partners. We?ve been selling these products for over 5 years and there is enormous affiliate and joint venture demand for re-selling our products. We have extremely high margins and a back-end in place so we can get extremely aggressive on commission structure.
As part of designing, developing and launching our affiliate program from scratch, you?ll be responsible for all facets of affiliate and joint venture development including recruiting new partners, maximizing their revenue and handling all operational details. We?ll be using DirectTrack affiliate tracking platform. To be sure, you?ll need to be a one-person show as 100% of the responsibility will be on you, supported by us, the company founders.
You should have both a strong sales and marketing background with significant operational experience running affiliate and joint venture programs online. Perhaps more importantly, you must be extremely deeply experienced and have relationships with all of the major affiliate networks, major affiliate marketers, super affiliates, and know how to respectfully market an affiliate program throughout the affiliate community.
We are looking for a true A-player who can aggressively hit the ground running and enjoys working in a fast-paced but fun environment with a very small team of elite A-players in which decisions are made quickly (yet thoroughly investigated) and actions are held accountable.
This job is suited only for people who have proven abilities to get doors opened, clearly communicate the value proposition and close deals swiftly. Just as importantly, you must?ve demonstrated the ability not only to close new accounts, but to also nurture them to ensure they get up and running and are cranking out sales.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement and launch our entire affiliate and joint venture marketing program
- Identify all potential affiliates, super affiliates, networks and other sales channels and develop a plan to penetrate each of these channels
- Send pitch emails, make phone calls, join networks, etc. to do whatever it takes to recruit as many quality active affiliates as possible and to maximize sales and profits
- Land new affiliate/joint venture deals and swiftly move to operationally mode to ensure these new accounts are setup correctly and have everything they need to hit the ground running and start selling our product
- Manage the operational process to ensure sufficient creative is available, all affiliate reporting systems and payments are being reported/handled correctly and dealing directly with any operational issues that come up
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as an online affiliate/joint venture manager or equivalent position with PROVEN track record
- Strong communicator, excellent salesmanship and ability to establish rapport and relationship quickly on a virtual basis (e.g. via email and phone)
- Experience with affiliate/partner management software/systems, development creative and dealing with all of the operational details that are the key to developing a scalable partner system
- Self-starter who can take initiative and run with the ball without having to be told what to do
- Strong problem solver who can analyze situations and devise solutions quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a superb time management and multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working in a remote environment on a freelance, part-time basis
Compensation
- Open to hybrid retainer/performance or 100% performance, whichever is best for your situation
