Last year Google made a change to Adwords device bidding that allowed people to run mobile-only campaigns again - this had been disabled since around 2013 with their 'Enhanced campaigns'.
Now, affiliates can create specialised mobile lead generation landing pages and run high quality PPC and social media traffic to them, generating leads which can be sold at a premium price due to the high quality. The best thing is, you do not even need a landing page for desktop - your design can be 100% mobile focused and mobile optimised. Most traffic is mobile these days anyway.
