How to optimize High CPA offers

Hello,

I usually proceed with 3x CPA offer rule when optimizing targets, carriers, OS etc.
But that is for low CPA offers (less than $2)

But when it's an high CPA offer like $5-$20, how do you proceed ?
You cut it at 2x CPA, 1x CPA ?
You cut it after XXX clicks or impressions ?
Any tips ?
