How To Get Leads From Twitter
There are several ways you can generate leads from Twitter. Here are some effective ways you can get targeted leads from twitter. Hope you like it.

Search Keywords and Hashtags

Twitter has over 600 million users around the world, so it’s a good bet most of your target audience is on the platform. If not, start by making a list of keywords and hashtags related to your business name, your product names and even your competitors and their products. Use that list to conduct a simple search on Twitter.

Start With a Strong Profile

Before you start looking for potential customers on Twitter, you need to make sure that any potential customers who visit your profile know who you are and what you do.

Allocate time each day to your Twitter tasks.

You don't have to be on twitter 24hours a day to be successful. Find your "hot spot" times and determine your largest reach twitter

Search for Potential Customers Using Their Bios

Start by using Twitter search to query a few things you think your potential customers might talk about on Twitter in relation to your products or services.

For example, if you have a web hosting company, you might want to search for recommending web hosting? -HTTP -link to find people looking for recommendations for web hosting. The -HTTP -link part will remove a majority of the results that contain links, which usually won’t tweet from potential customers.

Space out the link and image

If you use an image, don't put it right after your lead gen link - your link won't stand out Twitter

Wonderful post mate. For me I drive huge traffic from twitter. But my niche is adult and I think this is safest social place to drive adult traffic :p .
Thanks for the post Anonymous Marketer! Everyone is saying these days that Twitter is dead. It's good to see someone who's driving huge traffic from Twitter. :)

I'm new to this. Can you please tell me what are some of the strategies that work best for you? What kind of automation software you use? How many accounts you currently have? Do you open accounts manually? Do you buy accounts? Do you promote adult dating offers or cams?

Sorry for the many questions, I just want to learn all I can from someone who's successful. :)

No problem. Alright, I tried to reply your question gradually.

Strategy :
I usually post the image with the link in twitter every 15 mins a day. In this case, I am using buffer app as well as IFTTT.

Automation app:
Buffer ==> posting tweets
IFTTT ==> massive sharing, direcet message to the followers
tweepi ===> Grab follwers.

Accounts :
20 right now. Will be adding more. I don't buy accounts. I just create it manually buy using bulk sims

Promotion:
Dating + products.

Thanks for the answer! It was very helpful! You gave me a lot of ideas...

I never thought before about sending a direct message to everyone who follows you. Do you put link to the offer in the direct message? Is it safe to do that?

Also I have few more questions, if you don't mind. :)

What networks do you share to using IFTTT?
Do you follow manualy using tweepi, or you use a bot?
Do you use proxies for the accounts, or you just create them from the sim card IPs?
How many accounts do you create from one sim card/IP?
How many followers do you have on those 20 accounts?
How old are your accounts?
Do you use a URL shortener or you use a domain?
How many clicks do you get to your offer per day?
Do you direct link or you use a landing page?
And if you're willing to share how much you're making per day would be great. :)

Holy cow!!!. The questions are increasing day by day. Well, I appreciate your interest. I always collect leads. I send them a message like that ==> Hey mate @username, Thanks for the follow. I know you are interested in losing weight fast. I have a wonderful and completely FREE for you. Have a look [link] [shortlink]

Then I drive them to my landing page and collect leads. I am using proxies as well as I am using 1 proxy per 3 accounts.
I do also use 1 sim card for 3 accounts. I have more than 1000 followers per account. Most of the accounts are 1-year-old. I got around 100 clicks per day. Right now my earning is 30$ per day for a CPA offer.

I do want to share some effective ways here.
Broadly speaking, there are two places your visitors could find you:

On your website
On a social media site
While you have to be prepared to be able to capture visitors at both ends, today I’ll specifically be guiding you through the fruitful path of the social media.

The social media is an ever-expanding platform for marketers like yourself as a large number of people spend an even larger amount of time on social networking sites.

How people spend their time on the internet

I love this image for summarizing the life of millions of internet users.

See how 2,095,006,005 people who are on the internet spend time 22% of all their time on social networking sites.

The main concern that we have with these people is whether they share or not.

Apparently there are two types of people on these social networking sites: creators and curators.

Creators are those who generate original content such as images and videos and post it. Curators on the other hand are those who re-post or share content available on the internet.

It is this group of people, consisting of 41% of total internet users that you ought to be targeting.

The curators may not be able to make content themselves, but they can be absolutely terrifying judges when it comes to sharing and reposting things.

These people are not easily impressed and you have to give everything you have.

This is where I begin to show you how to absolutely impress them with your content so embrace yourself and read on.

The first thing that you must keep in mind when planning to broadcast yourself on the social media is that data worth millions of bytes is churned out every minute.

What you have to do is create material that will not only help you stay abreast of the information tidal wave, but more importantly get noticed and loved by the people.

1One of the best ways of doing so is by generating something that is new, or unique. This trick can offer you the biggest edge over your competitor and help you register in the minds of people.

Mabel’s Labels is one such business that is completely unique providing it’s users with custom made labels with a name and logo of one’s choice. This is unique because these stickers they make are for kids to put on their belonginigs to help with identification or prevent loss. They even make tags for kids’ clothings! Cute right?

Mabel’s Labels is very active on both Facebook and Twitter with regular posts and videos that’ll have their visitors entertained even if they have no new offer.

If users trigger a search with the keywords ‘baby goods/kids goods’ this page will be generated in the search result as well.

Having been found once, look at the many ways in which this Facebook page can lead the visitors onto the next step with their CTA or Call-To-Action buttons.

call-to-actions
Place several CTA buttons to direct your visitors
Shop Now: this buttons gets down directly to business as it calls its visitors to do the one thing they desperately want: make a purchase!
Invite friends to like the Page: while this still does not take visitors to your main website, it will do the work of publicity if the customers or simply people who were impressed by the idea or concept will share the page.
Link: finally there’s the link to the main website that will surely bring about greater views. Although this does not seem too important because this page already has a Shop Now
You shouldn’t be surprised to know that their Facebook page alone generates 11% of the site’s total traffic.

The Twitter page for Mabel’s Label is also up and running.

It is not as if the product is absolutely new, because this has been on the market for the last twelve years, but the fact that they use humour is simply awesome.

presence-on-twitter
Your presence on Twitter could also be very helpful
Here again you can see on the left side of the page, they have the link to their webpage so this will also lead visitors onto their website, which will eventually turn into converts.

Besides being new and unique, you could also have a story to say.
Have you seen the Humans of New York page on Facebook?

It features different people, real people and their stories. They are not great stories, but they are true stories and the sheer number of likes and shares each of these pictures get is amazing.

The story-telling equivalent of the internet in real life would be CocaCola who always have heart-touching stories to tell in their commercials.

So while you are at it, you might want to be honest and tell your audience what motivated you to initiate your business and how you want to really deliver.

This is a great move for several reasons. A story not only puts you in context, but also allows people to connect with you. You and your business are not then viewed as just that, a business. It helps build depth and thereby trust in your services.

Another thing you have to do on your social networking sites is basically tell people why they should opt for your product or service.
It’s quite simple. Just tell them why they should spend their time and energy on something.

tell-them-why
See how the heading of the first tweet says A bed fit for beauty sleep. Find yours. This denotes that with a bed from IKEA you will get the sound sleep that you crave so much.
Similarly the second tweet tells a visitor how a ‘cozy college apartment’ can be put together with the help of IKEA furniture and the link with it will lead on to several others.

Visitors are bound to go land at their website at a point given the amount of time they spend simply sifting through things.

You could also tell your visitors precisely why they should choose your service. You have to make them feel like they are missing out on something absolutely amazing if they are not using what you have to offer to them.

4. Instead of indirectly calling them to action, go do it directly.

Don’t get it?

explore-dream-discover

Use action words such as ‘Discover. Explore. Share. Join. Find’ in order to prompt your visitors to start with your services today.

These power words often motivate people to something they might otherwise have not opted for.

Finally, but most importantly engage your visitors in such a way that they keep coming back for more and the best way to do that is through gamification.

Gamification is the technique in which game-like features [such as rewards, loss aversion and competition] are harbored for non-game like matters just to drive the behavior of users.

Remember how I was saying at the beginning of this blog how you have to get the attention of social media users amidst all the noise of the internet?

Well, this is one way of doing it.
When thrown a challenge people tend to get all ready for action. This is because the competitive natures of the person kicks in making them want to win or earn a reputation or a status.

For instance, the Facebook page of Step 2 hosts a competition every Friday and showers it’s visitors with impressive gifts.

Not only that, but if you head over to the main website of Step 2 you’ll find a leader board that shows how the parents shopping goodies for their children rank. That way buyers are motivated to buy more and retain their position.

Their Twitter page simultaneously hosts such give-aways that help them retain their visitors.

gamification 1
It’s always the incentives that people are looking for. While you can always tell a person why they need something, you cannot make them share that information. But people will voluntarily share any new bonuses or badges they may get from a competition, just like people playing Candy Crush share their score every time they achieve a new level or they’ve beat an old friend’s score. The best part about these weekly or monthly competitions is that since they are hosted on the social networking sites, people will share their accomplishments [the prize they’ve won, the badges they’ve earned] and this will give you the exposure that you were looking for.

I am promoting MMO product via twitter but haven't find any conversation yet even any leads. I track my click almost 1000+ visitors but not even a single lead. Does MMO niche not working on twitter?

Actually MMO niche isn't suitable for twitter marketing. Twitter is the place of microblogging so people are love to tweets viral and recent topics. Also, they are a search for health tips and news. So it would better if you move to another niche to promote via twitter.

Wow that is so great. I like the part where you search for the potential customers using bios. One thing you will note is that twitter users do like placing the activities and hobbies they engage in on their bio information. From this, you will be able to find out if they are your potential customers depending on the service that you are offering. You however need to be acreful on how you interact with the users. Twitter is always a bit official social media platform when compared to other and therefore need to handle the users with much fun. It is a great platform for lead generation but only if you know what needs to be done and how it should be done.

Thank you. This would be helpful to capture the lesser targeted people who are interested in my niche. Will definitely try this.
