How does CPV bidding work?

If I'm bidder #2 for a keyword/URL, will I get any views at all?

In CPV, does the #1 bidder get all the traffic, with none for all the lower bidders?
Or do all bidders share? (and if so, how do the views get divided?)

I know that the guys that are not in 1st place receive less clicks but I don't know how the views are shared.

The ads run by the #1 bidder will be shown to the visitors who visit a target for the first time. If the same visitors re-visit the target then the #2 bidder ads are shown and so on.. It also depends on the bidder's frequency cap

u still get traffic even if u #2 just #1 have the priority on u

Depends on the traffic volume, but usually you'll get traffic for lower positions.

I've been in slot #7, and still seen traffic for high volume targets.

Ye if previous bidders are capped you will get traffic. Worth testing out and remember in LI for isntance competition is shown when they bid but have no budget
