Just out of curiosity. If you're sending traffic to an affiliate offer and it's converting for the advertiser, is it an obligation for an affiliate to give up their specific traffic source to their Affiliate Manager when asked? If not, then what do you tell your AM if he/she asks you for it. This is not saying that the traffic source being used is illegal or against their policy but wouldn't make it harder for you to succeed as an Affiliate Marketer if you're required to give up all of the details to your profitable campaigns which will ultimately subject yourself more competition with other affiliates.

You have to play by their rules
Hopefully, your fears are unfounded
Your work is copyright (assuming it is an original work) DMCA, Legal actions, etc.

It could be possible, that's why you gotta stipulate it in the contract and/or have a close relationship with a reputable network.
