Happy Christmas or Marry Christmas?

If I have to wish a christmas to someone what should i say

Happy Christmas or Marry Christmas?

I have seen some people use word HAPPY but some use MARRY... what is the difference in using these two words for the same occassion? is there anything specific related to it? anyone knows about it?

The correct word is "Merry" and no "Marry" but other thank the spelling, Merry Chrismas or Happy Chrismas are adequate to convery your Chrismas wishes to people

I use both, but I think Happy Christmas sounds more like for business partners and so....

At least this is how we use it here in Romania

Merry makes me think of drink and getting drunk :boredom: so I use Happy Christmas.

Funny we can say Merry Christmas or Happy Christmas but never Merry new year!
